FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

1. What happens to the information I enter in the BAT App?
Answer: Your personal information, such as name, date of birth, gender, job title, etc., as well as your responses and selections within the BAT App, will be kept anonymous and confidential. Data collected from all users will be aggregated and analyzed, and not traced to any individual. The information will use the combined data from not less than 5 people or it will not be summarized or shared. 2. What if I need help with how to use the BAT App, or want to report any technical issues?
Answer: You can email us at techsupport@burnoutanticipation.com You can also use the Feedback / Contact Us feature in the app under Settings.
3. What if I need help with registration and passwords?

4. What if I have questions about how Burnout Anticipation Technologies can help my organization, or want to provide general feedback?

5. How often should I use the BAT App?
Answer: You should submit a Temperature Check and a Reflection once per day. You should submit a complete Word Sample Exercise and Wellbeing Check-In once per week.
6. Are there instructions for how I should use the BAT App?
Answer: The Burnout Anticipation App User Guide is available and should be attached to your welcome email.
7. What if I forget my password?
Answer: Instructions for how to reset a forgotten password can be found in the User Guide in Section 15-16.
8. How do I enter a Word Sample Exercise?
Answer: The Word Sample Exercise page appears after you have submitted a Temperature Check and Reflection, or you can go there directly by tapping the file cabinet icon at the bottom of the screen. You can use typing or speech or a combination of both to complete your Word Sample Exercise. You must enter at least 150 words to complete the exercise and submit it. More specific instructions can be found in the User Guide in Section 9-10.
9. Can I edit my Word Sample Exercise?
Answer: You can edit your Word Sample Exercise using your phone’s keyboard until you have tapped Submit. Once you have submitted your Word Sample Exercise, you will not be able to edit it. You can review your previously submitted Word Sample Exercises by tapping the file cabinet icon. BURNOUT ANTICIPATION APP GLOSSARY Temperature Check – an overall description of how you are feeling that day. Temperature Checks should be submitted once per day. Reflection – a mood, behavior or characteristic that is a more descriptive of your overall temperature. Reflections should be submitted once per day. Word Sample Exercise– your response to an image presented in the BAT App. Word Sample Exercises must be at least 150 words long to be considered complete. Word Sample Exercises should be submitted once per week. Wellbeing Check-In – questions about the frequency you feel a certain way. You should submit a Wellbeing Check-In after each complete Word Sample Exercise. Sample – a full set of all the information that you have submitted (Temperature Check, Reflection, Word Sample Exercise and Wellbeing Check-In) in a single day.

GLOSSARY

Reflection:
A mood, behavior or characteristic that is a more descriptive of your overall temperature. Reflections should be submitted once per day.
Sample:
A full set of all the information that you have submitted (Temperature Check, Reflection, Word Sample Exercise and Wellbeing Check-In) in a single day.
Temperature Check:
An overall description of how you are feeling that day. Temperature Checks should be submitted once per day.
Wellbeing Check-In:
Questions about the frequency you feel a certain way. You should submit a Wellbeing Check-In after each complete Word Sample Exercise.
Word Sample Exercise:
Your response to an image presented in the BAT App. Word Sample Exercises must be at least 150 words long to be considered complete. Word Sample Exercises should be submitted once per week.
